At the place where I work for a living, there are female prisoners that perform the housekeeping duties early in the mornings. We are told that we are not to make friends with them. Do not touch them. Do not attempt to interact with them outside their duties in any way. They may call . . . → Read More: Perfume perspective.

We adopted 2 ferrets last Friday!
Both Kirk and I have had ferrets in our lives in the past.

I took today off in order to run some errands and enjoy my new sewing machine that Kirk bought me for my upcoming birthday. (It arrived yesterday.)
I was up and dressed, had eaten breakfast and . . . → Read More: I feel very accomplished today!

Different in the South
Driving
The roads here are insane. The sharply curved on/off ramps and narrow lanes that I drive here in South Carolina would cause a ridiculous amount of accidents in Alaska. But then, we have this stuff called snow and ice on the roads up there more often than not, . . . → Read More: Different in the South
